Big Stories in Tiny Spaces

November 21, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EST

RIT’s Center for Urban Entrepreneurship (CUE) will be providing a workshop that will help entrepreneurs tell their stories in an impactful way. Journalists and documentary filmmakers Hélène Biandudi Hofer and Jeremy Steinkamp will facilitate this workshop. They are passionate about helping entrepreneurs (like themselves) tell their stories to resonate with their customers and the community. Please refer to the attachment and the content below for details.
Big Stories in Tiny Spaces is an interactive workshop that helps small business owners learn how to share their impact stories with the world. What’s an impact story? It’s a type of storytelling that describes how your business positively impacts the people you serve (with the evidence to back it up). It demonstrates how you and your company are making a difference in our society.

During this in-person, two-day workshop, participants will learn how to communicate their impact story from start to finish effectively. In the end, they will have the skills needed to create multimedia stories for their businesses that include a combination of video, text, audio, graphics, and photographs. Impact stories are ideal for social media, business websites, webinars, or company newsletters.

This workshop is valued at $550 dollars and those attending will receive a scholarship for their commitment.
*This workshop is for small business owners and entrepreneurs that exist to help remedy social issues in our society. Due to the level of interaction, capacity is limited. Selected participants must attend each in-person workshop session [Sunday, November 21st from 10 am-3 pm and Monday, November 22nd 5 pm – 8 pm]. Food will be provided.
