In this Lunch and learn Join us as Neha M Karambelkar, Esq., the Managing Attorney of the Western New York Law Center’s Small Business Legal Clinic (SBLC) discusses “Contracts and Leases- Legal considerations”.

Neha M. Karambelkar, Esq. is the Clinic’s Managing Attorney. Neha is licensed to practice law in New York State and focuses her practice on business formation and contracts. Neha’s work has been recognized by Super Lawyers, which named her to their Upstate New York Rising Stars List in 2020 and 2021, an honor limited to no more than 2.5% of attorneys within the state. Before joining SBLC, she practiced consumer defense work and bankruptcy. Her consumer advocacy was noticed by Superintendent Lacewell of the New York State Department of Financial Services, who appointed her to their Consumer Protection Task Force for a 3 year-term. Neha is also a member of the New Yorkers for Responsible Lending (NYRL), a statewide coalition of more than 160 non-profit organizations, where she lobbies with other advocates across the state on consumer rights issues. She is the co-chair of NYRL’s Insurance Working Group. She brings prior legal clinic experience to SBLC as well as a deep passion for helping her clients and looks forward to helping entrepreneurs across WNY. She received her B.A. from the University of Rochester and her J.D. from New York Law School.
