The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency (BURA) is a public benefit corporation that was formed by an act of New York State Legislature in 1966. Its corporate purpose includes the general planning and operation of various urban renewal programs designed to prevent or eliminate blight and deterioration in the City of Buffalo.
